Christmas in July relies on volunteers, that's why our motto is "Neighbors Helping Neighbors." Our work teams are made up of people willing to give their time to make our community better for everyone.

Volunteer during the community workday or become a year-round volunteer.
We invite volunteers of all ages to participate in our annual Community Workday, usually held in July. On this day we enjoy a hot breakfast together before splitting into teams to work on different projects. Since there are a wide variety of requests, there are always projects for everyone to choose from. Form a work team with your friends and coworkers, or come on your own! We also have a group who volunteer all year for jobs that can’t wait for our Community Workday. |

Info for our Community Workday 2026:
This year's workday is Saturday, July 11th, 2026. We're meeting at 8:00am at the Lower Umpqua Senior Center (460 Winchester Ave, Reedsport). Please wear work clothes and bring gloves if you have them. Tools will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own. We'll provide lunch too. You can choose whether to work until lunch or to continue working into the afternoon. Thank you for your service!
